Title: Hydroforms

Description: Both ice and water sculpt the landscape surrounding Columbia Glacier.  Since USGS studies began in the early 1970s the glacier has lost 140 cubic km of ice, thinning by over 500 meters in the neighborhood of this image, and exposing 100 square km of new ocean.
