Title: Test Well, East River Description: USGS test well 10 34h363 in the East River, Brunswick, Ga. The U.S. Geological Survey drilled this test well in the early 1970's and at the time it was on the edge of the marsh at Andrews Island. It is now only accessible by boat or canoe at high tide. Despite being surrounded by saltwater the artesian well flows very fresh water from the Upper Floridan Aquifer.
