Flood Measurement Using ADCP (2006)

Information presented is factual at the time of creation.
If no transcript and/or closed-caption is available, please notify us.
Today is 07/30/2006, Sunday. We’re at Rillito, Dodge and we’ve had significantly higher flows. You can see some high water marks here about 3.5 to 4 feet above the current level. And the time is 9:12. We’re trying to get an ADCP measurement right now. The crew, the equipment, the river.

Fletcher is nearing the end right here. You can see how fast the water is moving. Moving pretty quick but the tiny pole is steady right there. As you can see, they don’t have a bridge cling. What happened to the bridge cling? There’s the ADCP again. It’s again Fletcher Brinkerhoff and... doing an ADCP measurement. That’s Fletcher on bridge and he was on the vehicle manning the laptop.
