Description:

This video gives a brief overview of the U.S. Program for the Indian Ocean Tsunami Warning System. It includes footage of the deployment of the first Indian Ocean Tsunami Detection (DART) buoy in December 2006, of a simulation exercise in Padang, Indonesia, a training course in seismology that took place in 2007, as well as interviews with scientists.
