Hi, I'm Kati Bednar and I work with the USGS at the California Water Science Center in Sacramento, CA. I'm a student trainee hydrologist and currently, right now, we're working on collecting some mercury samples in Sacramento Valley. I'm an undergraduate at Sacramento State and I'm currently in the GIS Certification program at American River College. I really love working for the USGS…as you can see it puts me outdoors in this awesome weather doing some field work and collecting some amazing data. If there's anything I could recommend, if anyone is interested in some science, go to the USGS website and look up "youth employment." Thank you.
