Work continues at the shipyard on the US Geological Survey's new research vessel, the Arcticus.
The frame of the ship's hull is complete, as are the two large capacity tanks for diesel fuel.
A remote-controlled overhead crane is used to move one of the fuel tanks into place on the lower deck.
The new vessel is expected to be completed by August 2014.
Stay tuned as updates will be posted to the Great Lakes Science Center website.
