Flood Decision Support Toolbox (FDST) enhanced with addition of building footprint data
The Texas Water Development Board provided an enhancement to the Flood Decision Support Toolbox that allows users to view how different heights of flooding may affect buildings located near selected USGS streamgages. This online tool will allow the public to see how broadly and deeply floodwaters can cover these sites, measured in half-foot increments of floodwater height.
USGS Unveils Mobile Flood Tool for the Nation
The U.S. Geological Survey announced Friday the completion of a new mobile tool that provides real-time information on water levels, weather and flood forecasts all in one place on a computer, smartphone or other mobile device.
